Hamlet and Sweden Tour - Two Countries in one day !

Join us in a full day's tour to Hamlet's Castle, where we travel up the coast road, Strandvejen and arrive in the charming old town of Helsingør, known as Elsinor in English. After our visit to Elsinor, we sail across the Øresund to Sweden and travel along the Swedish country roads to the ancient City of Lund, where you can visit Lund Cathedral, which was completed in the year 1145. Behind the cathedral you can explore the tiny streets, with houses dating back to the 1700s. It's like stepping back into history! Afterwards we travel to Malmö, Sweden's third largest city, where you will have a chance to do some shopping and take advantage of Sweden's lower purchase taxes, which means there are some very nice prices! We begin with a 1-hour walk before boarding the electric harbor ferry, a local way to enjoy a canal tour in Copenhagen. Your host shares stories, and insider tips as we glide through the city’s waterways. After the ferry, we continue another hour on foot, passing the star-shaped 1600s fortress and the Little Mermaid. A short café stop offers time to rest and chat before reaching Amalienborg Palace. The 9:00 & 09:30 AM tours finish with the full Changing of the Guards at noon. Later departures include a smaller version of the ceremony. If the ferry is full or out of service (rare, mostly weekends), we follow the scenic canal route on foot instead, covering the full itinerary with 2 extra km.
